  1. You set the room Configure a tier and the perks that fit your place — things that are cheap to give and expensive to buy elsewhere: a held stool, line-skip on a peak weekend, first crack at tickets, your name on the wall, the off-menu thing. Status and access over discounts.
  2. Locals join in about thirty seconds QR or join link → magic link → phone pass / web QR now; Wallet when ready. Same link works at the venue or from a story, text, or email — useful in winter.
  3. Staff honor the relationship Member shows the pass; staff opens the staff page on a phone you already have (PIN), sees who they are and the standing context, checks them in when needed, then applies the perk the same way you already comp today. Your Toast / Square / Clover stays the system of record for the check.
  4. Money arrives every month Perks get used in season; membership billing runs year-round. You are the merchant of record via Stripe Connect — we collect membership for you and take a small cut only when money actually comes in.

“We don’t want another screen at the counter.”
You’re not buying hardware from us. Most places run Regulars on a phone they already have — or the same iPad they use for music/reservations — unlocked to the staff page with a PIN. It’s a five-second glance when someone shows their pass, not a second POS. Your POS stays primary for the check.
“Does it work with Toast / Square / Clover?”
Yes — because we don’t integrate with them in v1. Staff apply perks the same way they already comp. Optional: add a $0 Regulars item in your POS so you can report how often members get tagged.
“We already have loyalty / punch cards.”
Those reward visits with points or discounts. Regulars sells membership — prepaid year-round cash plus status (“you belong here”). Complementary, not a rip-replace. If your loyalty is discount-heavy, steer Regulars perks toward access so you don’t double up on margin damage.
“Our regulars won’t pay.”
That’s the only real risk — which is why setup is $0. Start with one status-led tier and your warmest regulars. You’ll know in weeks, not after a hardware install.
“What’s in it for us vs just being nice?”
You’re already being nice — usually with untracked comps. Members prepay; you see who they are; staff honor membership instead of inventing the discount every time. Slow months get cash from people who already love you.
“Another SaaS fee?”
No monthly software fee. No hardware. You only share a small cut when membership money actually comes in.
“Staff will hate it.”
If it strips the buy-back, they’ll kill it. Design perks so hospitality stays human — standing context plus check-in when needed. Staff never see your revenue.
“Is this legal for drink specials?”
We don’t ship alcohol templates or tell you what drink deals to run. You write your own perks; compliance stays with you. Plenty of great perks aren’t drinks — access, recognition, food/merch, experiences.
“What if we close / shutter seasonally?”
Year-round billing is the point for places that stay open. Seasonal rooms can sell “pay through winter for summer priority.” Any cross-town closure-credit story is a long-term trust idea — we won’t over-promise it here.
